Di foto ini terlihat jelas sebuah meja lintas negara yang sangat serius… sampai kita sadar mereka sebenarnya sedang lunch santai. Dari kanan ada Yoshie, JPY yang kini menetap di USA, lalu di sebelahnya istri dari David MPY, disusul Ben TPY berkaos merah, dan tentu saja David MPY sendiri. Empat orang, empat latar belakang, satu tujuan mulia: makan dengan damai dan tertib sebelum makanan keburu dingin.
Yang paling mencuri perhatian tentu saja Yoshie. Setelah puluhan tahun absen dari reuni karena tinggal jauh di USA, ia muncul kembali dengan kondisi yang… mencurigakan. Wajahnya, posturnya, bahkan auranya masih persis seperti tahun 1989. Tidak banyak berubah. Tidak banyak tambahan. Seolah waktu lewat begitu saja tanpa berani menyentuh JPY satu ini. Sontak muncul pertanyaan ilmiah di meja makan: apa rahasia hidupnya?
Ben dan David tampak menikmati makan siang sambil sesekali melirik Yoshie, mungkin memastikan apakah ini benar orang yang sama atau hasil teknologi kloning JPY. Sementara istri David duduk tenang, seolah sudah menerima kenyataan bahwa di meja ini ada manusia yang menolak menua. Diskusi pun berkembang—apakah ini karena pola makan Jepang, udara USA, atau memang standar bawaan JPY yang berbeda dari spesies lainnya.

Next to her is David MPY’s wife, followed by Ben TPY in the red shirt, and of course David MPY himself. Four people, four backgrounds, one noble mission: eat peacefully before the food gets cold.
The real scene-stealer here is Yoshie. After disappearing from reunions for decades due to life in the USA, she suddenly reappears looking… suspiciously unchanged. Her face, posture, even her overall vibe look exactly the same as in 1989. No major upgrades, no visible wear and tear. Time seems to have politely skipped her. Naturally, a scientific discussion begins at the table: what is her secret?
Ben and David continue eating while occasionally glancing at Yoshie, possibly checking whether she is the original version or a well-maintained JPY limited edition. David’s wife sits calmly, as if she has already accepted the fact that one person at this table clearly refused to age. The theories grow: Japanese diet? American air? Or is this simply standard JPY factory settings?
In the end, everyone agrees on the most reasonable conclusion: it’s not that Yoshie hasn’t aged—our eyesight just isn’t what it used to be. Hehehe. Either way, this cross-country lunch table proves one thing: SSEAYP reunions are always full of surprises—not just old stories, but also people who look like they’ve been paused since 1989.
